Cyfra+ VOD: more than 50,000 rentals

Bertrand Le Guern, chairman of CANAL+ Cyfrowy, has informed us that CYFRA+ VOD service registered 50,000 rentals since its launch, the most popular programmes were movies in HD. Company is also working on introducing adult movies in VOD. CYFRA+ VOD service was launched on 22nd of December 2008.

CYFRA+ VOD allows to rent movies and other programmes without leaving home. VOD offers the latest movies and the classics productions, including programmes and movies in HD quality. All materials are divided into three categories: PREMIERY, HITY and ALL MOVIES FROM A to Z.

Order can be made via Internet, SMS or by phone. Selected program can be watched any number of times within 48 hours. Movie premieres are available for 13 PLN (HD) and 11 zł (SD). Hits - 8 PLN, concerts - 4 PLN. In April CYFRA+ will introduce a special promotion for its VOD service.
