DVB-T for Cyfra+ subscribers

Cyfra+ introduces a new version of the software for Philips HD decoders. With improved software subscribers of Cyfra+ will have access to digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) after connecting the aerial. DVB-T reception is free of charge. This software will appear very soon in Philips HD PVR decoders.

Cyfra's Philips HD and HD PVR decoders are the only terminals distributed by the platform that are equipped with DVB-T tuner. The new version of Philips HD decoder software provides support for built-in DVB-T tuner and has a number of changes in the structure and layout to facilitate the navigation menu.

Currently, digital terrestrial television is being tested in Poland. Official start of first multiplex, which will include all the national stations (TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info, Polsat, TVN, TV4 and TV Puls) is announced for September. DVB-T stations should be available in Cyfra+ decoders from channel 980.
