Discovery Channel in TNK offer

Discovery Networks has signed an agreement with Digital Dom company and the result of this cooperation will be addition of the Discovery Channel to TNK offer. The new channel will appear at no extra charge in 29th of June and it will be 16th TV station in TNK. Appearance of the main Discovery channel will help to promote Discovery brand and interest viewers in other Discovery Networks products.

TNK (Telewizja na Karte) becomes a very attractive offer. With just 10 PLN per month (with payment in advance for the year) viewers get access to the main package of channels with SD versions of nSport, TVP Sport, TVP Info, TVN 24, Disney Channel and several others.

Frequency of Discovery Channel for TNK is not known but n platform broadcasts Discovery on tp. 116 - 10,834 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 2/3) in DVB-S2/8PSK. Cyfra+ and Cyfrowy Polsat use transmission from tp. 74 - 12,188 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4 in DVB-S. Signal will be taken from this transponder or it will be shifted from n's frequency in DVB-S2 to some other place which TNK viewers will be able to use.
