TVN Group has announced its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2009. Digital platform n, including TNK (Telewizja na Karte), has reached 683.000 active subscribers at the end of the second quarter of 2009. DTH platform n revenues rose by 98.3% in the first half of 2009 to 214 mln PLN. This increase is mainly caused by increase in revenues from license fees. In the corresponding period of 2008 n\'s revenues were 108 mln PLN.

This increase is mainly due to increase in the average number of subscribers and higher ARPU. n platform number of subscribers has increased by 230.356 to 540.982 in the first six months ended on 30th of June 2009. Platform's ARPU has increased by 11 PLN to 56.7 PLN. n platform recorded gross increase in the number of subscribers at 108.990 during the six months ended 30th of June 2009, compared with 69.283 subscribers in the six months ended 30th of June 2008.

TNK had revenues of 11 mln PLN during the six months ended 30th of June 2009. This revenue consists primarily of license fees and revenue from sales of decoders in the amount of 3.962 PLN, mainly achieved in the first quarter of 2009. For the six months ended 30th of June 2009, TNK has increased its subscriber base, of clients paying for services on prepaid, with almost 142.000. At 30th of June 2009, TNK had more than 129.000 active subscribers and the subscriber base at 233.000. For the six months ended 30th of June 2009, TNK recorded ARPU of 10.06 PLN.

n platform has recorded a loss of EBITDA of 56 mln PLN during the six months ended of 2009, compared to 66 mln in the corresponding period of 2008. EBITDA was affected by weakend exchange rate of zloty in comparison with euro and zloty in comparison to U.S. dollar, since most of the platform's cost, including software and broadcasting costs are denominated in euros and U.S. dollars.
