Cyfrowy Polsat with 2,7 mln subscribers

Cyfrowy Polsat platform has ended 2008 with 3 mln customers (subsribers + FTA viewers). In the fourth quarter of 2008 Cyfrowy Polsat added 324,000 customers. Platform\'s subscribers number is 2,726,993 and that is 658,665 (31.8%) more compared to 2007 (2,068,328).

300,000 customers with Cyfrowy Polsat decoders has only access to free-to-air channels but thay can order any Polsat package after paying for chosen subscription. This means that 3 mln of Polish families has access to television via Polsat Cyfrowy, it represents 22% of households.

Polsat subscriber base growth and improvement of the services has strengthened platform's position in pay-TV market in Europe. In terms of subscribers number Cyfrowy Polsat is the undisputed leader in Poland and the fifth largest platform in Europe.
