TVP: 115-120 mln PLN loss in 2009

TVP losses for 2009 will amount to 115-120 mln PLN. TVP is not threatened by liquidity, although a credit line was not launched yet. Polish Television enlists a 100 mln PLN loan in Bank Pekao SA. The money will provide protection against seasonal fluctuations in the advertising market.

Interest amount to 13,48 mln PLN gross. The loan hasn't been started yet because after approval from the board and the supervisory board of TVP it must be approved by TVP owner, a Minister of the Treasury. More than 150 people can lose their jobs in the Polish Radio -it might be 130-140 people only in the administration. The biggest changes concern the preparation of production and postproduction - these sections will be reformed and organized.
