2008-03-11: Norwegian cable operator Get is going to introduce high definition television including such channels as: Canal+ Film HD, Canal+ Sport HD, Discovery HD, Voom HD, Silver HD and Luxe HD. Subscribers will access the channels through Get box HD PVR with 250 GB hard disk. The price is NOK1,200 (€151).

French Arte HD on 30th October

2008-03-10: French version of the Franco-German cultural cultural channel Arte will be launched in high definition on 30th October 2008. Arte HD is going to be available through TNT, French digital transmitters. German Arte HD will be launched on 1st January 2009.
